Alway's but it's those C9 shirts from target that are basically rashguards, except they cost $12.

Yeah. I don't spend a ton of money. Most of mine have come from thrift stores. I don't wear them for my own comfort. I wear them because they cut down on the amount of sweat I'm smearing and dripping all over my training partners.

No.

And as a side, I don't like when people where t-shirts under their gi. I have had fingers get caught in them when going for deep collar grips.

I previously used shirts and I noticed very quickly they get ruined as I like baggier shirts, I wear a rashguard now though.

A good rashguard should also have strong wicking properties which would make you cooler. That's why so many football and hockey players use UnderArmour style garments under all that equipment -- it's too hot if you DON'T.

I usually wear a Coolmax shirt (under my gi and my hockey gear). It makes a huge difference. Both me and the gi are cooler and dryer at the end of class.

It depends on where I am at as some schools have different policies and I adhere to wherever I am at. In general - no I do not like to wear one because you cant wear one when you compete.

However at the current place I am at now the main coach asks that we wear them so I do. But also - there has been a bit of concern of some funk going around at the moment ... 😯 😯 😯 :ahh: :ahh: :ahh: :ahh: :surrender: :surrender: :surrender: 🙁

So I wear one without question all the time.

If I have the choice, I don't. Like Jack, I find them hot and uncomfortable to wear under a gi. Unfortunately I don't always have the choice, as I'm at a Gracie Barra.

Not sure my vote counts, since I think cultural norms are different for girls.

But, I'd like to just throw it out that there, I appreciate in the summer months when people are drenched in sweat that they have a rash guard on controlling it a bit so there's a little less dripping onto my face..... 😐
