Yah, runs excelent on my mac (if we're talking about the one aliens vs humans).
Although strictly for a forum game, I think it's not the best fps game. Quake arena is better.
It's because noone really wants to be aliens, and aliens are sorta boring. Humans are fun. So really, look for a game that has "deathmatch" mode or free for all. Always works better for forums, since we're not a gaming forum, we will lack the organization and teamwork that is needed to play this game to it's full potential.
Fun game, but quake arena is much better for what we're looking for. I'd keep looking. I'll help out and see if I can find anything. Are you looking strictly for fps, or ? _________________ ]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]

Doesnt have to be FPS
My requirements are
1) Must run server on linux, and support windows, mac and linux clients
2) Multiplayer - duh
3) fairly quick learning curve
Remember that game MYTH by any chance? It was sooo much fun multiplayer.
Everyone had their own army of monsters on the playing field and would do battle. Wasnt an FPS
There are lots of lists of top linux video games out there, like this:

I just played it.... pretty fun. Not as polished as Quake Arena... but it worked well and required no learning _________________ New to this site? Please review the rules
