I agree they need to start enforcing the rules, or get rid of them ,sheeesh.
There is just too much incentive to break the rules now. Fighters never seem to get punished. How many times do you have to threaten to take away a point before you actually do it?
Has a fighter ever had a point deduction on the FIRST warning for an illegal technique??? I seriously doubt it. Therefore, its in a fighter best interest to at least throw some illegal shots a few times, with virtually no risk of a deduction.
When fighting at this level, where every little thing can change the outcome of a fight, its almost prudent you "cheat a little", especially if your opponent is likely to do it.
How many times has Chuck avoided a takedown with a fence grab? Thats the CHAMP doing it?!?!? Avoiding a single takedown can totally change the outcome of a fight, yet Chuck has gotten away with it multiple times.
A single illegal blow can also change the outcome of a fight. UFC needs to get on the ball. _________________ New to this site? Please review the rules

yeah,
personally, i think it's the Refs, cuz some of them straight up suck...
The best one IMO is DEFINITELY THE BIG JOHN McCARTHY!
other than him, only like Mario Yamasaki is a worthy ref... _________________ Spiritual Version:
