No dude...Rocky 4 was awesome. And when Mickey died in 3 it was sad enough to make the whole movie better tuan warrior. Rocky jas a legacy. Rocky is a practicaly a seperate entity from other combat sport movies. Rocky was almost REAL!
Rocky was supposed to die when Tommy Morrison fought him in the street. And the fact that they changed that ruined that movie:(
Casino Royale is one of my favorite movies. But I haven't seen it in about two years. Back then, I wasn't training and didn't know enough about bjj to recognize anything. Now I'll need to go re-watch it. Could use a good re-watch anyway. I love that movie. It breaks my heart (or, Vesper breaks my heart, I should say), but I still love it.
Which scenes have bjj. Just remind me before I go watch.
Kills guy with RNC (black guy with machete), hooks in and everything.
Can't remember exactly what scenes other than that.
Also Shelock Holmes breaks a guy's elbow with an armbar.
OOOOH, what's that movie where world champ boxer goes to jail, and has to fight MMA to get out (thrown in jail in russia)? LOADS of good MMA stuff in general, even though a bit flashy.
You talking about "In Hell" with Jean Claude Van Dam? If so, I think that movie's great. A bit flashy at points, but not too bad. But it was just a dirty, gritty, dark movie. I liked it. _________________ Carlos Gracie, Sr. → Carlson Gracie → Rodrigo Medeiros → Jeff Messina → Me

I disagree. I loved Rocky IV when I was a little kid. But as an adult, I can't stand it. I mean, I will admit I still like the training scenes in Russia. But other than that...the movie just...whaaamp whaaaa. (that was a trumbone)
And III with Mr. T, the only good thing about that movie was the scene where Mr. T is coming down the stairs and clearly yells out "Hey Stalone!" instead of "Hey Balboa." I guess they probably did a hundred takes with him, and that's the best they could get. Good ole Mr. T. _________________ Carlos Gracie, Sr. → Carlson Gracie → Rodrigo Medeiros → Jeff Messina → Me

Van Dam was not in it. Googled it, movie name: Undisputed 2. _________________ ]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]

Paul Walker's flicks have BJJ in them. The Death of Bobby Z has some pretty sweet moves. _________________ "Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast"

I liked Red Belt. I wanted to love it, but couldn't. I thought the first half was an awesome modern samurai epic. I thought the second half was a confusing mess.
Let's not forget, well before its time, the fight scene at the end of Lethal Weapon where Riggs uses quite a bit of jits in the finale.

Bobby Z was an awful movie but it does have Pat Miletich, Chuck Liddell, Oleg Taktarov, Robbie Lawler, Rory Markham, Tim Sylvia, Ben Rothwell, pretty much anyone in the Miletich camp at that time.
Also Paul Walker has trained BJJ under Ricardo Miller at Paragon and Ronn Shiraki a Relson BB. _________________ "The world breaks everyone and afterward many are strong in the broken places.
